The Florida Sports Hall of Fame recognizes and honors Florida's greatest sports figures and leverages this collective celebrity to promote fitness awareness, education and sports activities among our state's youth and adults. Equally important is the promotion of the qualities of discipline and honor among sports participants. To be considered for induction into the Hall, a candidate must have either been born in the state of Florida or had significant portion of their careers occur within the state of Florida.
Founded in 1961 by the Florida Sportswriters and Florida Sportscasters Associations, the Florida Sports Hall of Fame has inducted 248 members.
This year's class will be officially inducted into the Hall at an Enshrinement Dinner on Nov. 8, 2017 at the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort and Spa in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. with a portion of the event proceeds benefitting hurricane and flood relief in Florida.

if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Just saw him some days ago handing out food and other provisions, alongside Marco Rubio, to folks in need in the keys.
A southeast Florida laid back beach bum and volunteer bikini assessor who lives on island time.
To induct him. That was close, you know someone was going to say I meant handing out water.
