Another "Guys Week" 8/26 -8/27 Key Colony Beach

Another group of friends joined me for this week at Key Colony for some fishing & bugs.Saturday saw clearing conditions with diminished winds, so we charged out to the North part of the Bay for some Mangrove fishing, Not the greatest of fishing conditions to start, but did manage just short of a 6 man limit of Mangroves. Moved south to a few lobster spots, and managed 12 good bugs before we called it a day. Today we got an earlier start and we picked up 30 really good bay Mangroves, 3 trout and 21 good land snapper. Moved on to a few lobster spots and picked up 7 bugs before then throttle cable broke, so we had to hobble back in for some repairs. Hope to replace the cable tomorrow and get back at it:grin Did see something that I would have called BS on if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. A Manatee came by our cleaning station and proceeded to eat the fish scraps. I always thought they ate vegetation:huh
In my many years, I have come to a conclusion that one useless man is a shame, two is a law firm, and three or more is a congress.-- John Adams
