What to spool new trolling setup with?

Looking to spool a couple trolling reels and new to area. I have TLD25s on Star Aerial EX3080RS (30-80 med hvy roller tip and stripper).
Wanting for general trolling (king, mahi, BF tuna). Was thinking about 175 yds of 40# top shot and 150 yds 60# braid, mono backing.
I already have a couple Talica 16s on Paraflex rods for bottom fishing loaded with 60# braid. Just looking to outfit a new rig in a new area so any input is appreciated.

Others have said only go with mono so was wondering if any braid was necessary.
