Carb spray cleaner for Pistol

Sure works good on anything else .
Got 2 Walther P 22,s to clean this weekend. Thinking the blast will work real nice.
Hit the Powder solvent down the barrels and oil them up lightly.
Anybody ever use Carb. cleaner on a firearm..?

Keep it away from any non metal surfaces on the gun. Some carb cleaners will melt plastic.

He's right, some carb cleaners are real strong and some aren't . I have used many different types, but never needed to use them on a firearm. I'm thinking a black powder rifle might be a candidate.
You should excercise caution. Do the cleaning outdoors and take care not to get the overspray in your eyes.
B12 chemtool is the best and strongest aerosol that I know of. That stuff is dangerous. You get no second chances if that gets in your eye.
It starts to burn your skin after a few seconds. I don't know what it might do to your pistol.
