Does anyone have an easy dyi mouse/rat poison? I see on internet equal parts sugar flour baking soda, should do the trick. But not having much luck with this. The box store sell it but I took a lot of it last time and I did not like using it due to my dog.

Please consider making or using a trap or buying a cat.
Stop to consider if you are poisoning outside mice it's not just your dog getting into the poison to think about.
Hawks & owls who may be eating the mice will ingest this poison also.
The other consideration is if they die in your walls, it's going to stink forever. I've climbed through attics to get rats that were caught in traps but still crawled 50' half dead to die in the most remote corner of the attic and stink the house up for weeks.
I've also seen my golden eat a box of rat poison I had left under the grill, lick the box clean, and never eve look sick so i'm not sure how powerful that stuff actually is. We were already to put Bear in the ground, but he acted like he had just had a solid dinner, and 3 days later showed no signs of being sick at all.

Chickens?
Really?
Very true. I've actually had to deal with a Bald Eagle while working that had ingested a mouse that had eaten poison prior to the Eagle consuming it.
