Great White off the Corner West End

A Friend yesterday was fishing the corner when a very large great white surfaced and made two trips around his vessel. The shark stayed about 6-8 off the boat. The shark was estimated to be in the 14'-16' size.

I checked on Kathrine and she is right now located way up in North East US territory.

Since they have been a protected species for so long they are everywhere. In the past they were seen in the keys in the winter. They are there year round now. Spearfishing and dive videos show up frequently of them on popular wrecks.

Exactly why I always get a bit nervous when out there in that deep, clear blue water and I have to jump in for a nature call !! :rolleyes

Have had a great Hammerhead , a big fat Tiger and a 7-8` Mako cruise the boat on different occasions ......a Great White .....definitely would make one swim a bit faster !! :hairraiser

The funny part it was family trip with his wife kids and fiends. His wife flipped out and the kids were all hanging on tight screaming.
