Hi. Apologies in advance if this has appeared before!
I was talking to a ghillie who said we get caught up with fly patterns and would do better fishing one pattern, in a variety of styles, all year.
It got me thinking, before I hit the vice, do I really need to tie lots of different patterns? Bear with me!
I am intrigued to know if you were limited to just onefly(which can be tweaked!)to have with you, in the salt, regardless of species, what would you use and why?
Tight lines
Vern.
