Do they do that more than once a year? Spring and Fall??

Do what, have velvet? If so no, when they loose their antlers (late winter early spring depending on location) they grow back and are covered in "velvet" and when they quit growing them they rub/shed it off and are "hard horned" until the cycle comes again. This is the time that they can damage them during growth before turning hard.

Nice pics, and quite a bit of rack for this early in the year.

They seem to be antlered up a little early this year. could be the mild winter. this group has some good bucks. i have not been able to get close to the grand daddy for a pic. saw him a couple times last fall but he keeps his does segregated & is very cautious.
