Charlotte Harbor Fishing Report 4/17 and 4/22

Went out on 4/17 and hit the upper harbor around Hog Island, Trout Creek and what not. Caught some small trout, not much to talk about. We decided to hit Bull Bay and it was on fire. We landed 30+ trout, ended up taking 7 home with the largest being around the 20 inch mark. Landed the 30+ trout I'm guessing in an hour.
4/22 again the upper harbor was slow. We hit the lower part of the West Wall and caught into 20+ trout, took 6 home for dinner. Also caught into small snook and reds. Overall not too bad for two days. I would have fished more but the kids wanted to hit Magic Kingdom in Orlando. 4/22 was rainy and cloudy, but still productive.

What were you using for bait?
I would have lobbied HARD to get out of the Magic Kingdom stuff. I have paid my dues and taken all 4 of my grandchildren there and if my lucks holds I won't ever have to return.:banana
Mirrolures, trout whack them good. Magic Kingdom should be over, kids have been there 3 times now. I dont see a future need to return.
