Ponce 4/22, Mahi again
After our nice trip Friday it only made since to try again on Saturday....the ocean did not have the same idea.....spent 2 to 3 hours straight into at least a 15 mph wind to get out to where we were the day before in 210 to 260. Picked up 3 fish quick and thought we were going to have a banner day then the bite shut off. Moved into 150 and out to 450 without a knock down. Decided to reel the baits up on the outriggers and deep drop some to break the monotony. Picked a few red porgies and a endangered ARS and closed gag...figures. Went back to trolling on our way back towards the inlet and picked a bull and cow that both around 25 lbs. in 210 which made the day quite a bit better. Received another *** whoopin on the way in and cleared the inlet just before dark...long day.
