Port Everglades offshore 03/29

My dad is in town once again. Had to take out the boat on a test ride. Got some hoo and had some rigs ready, why not. Ventured to 600-750 first. Broken scattered lines all around. Worked south, after about an hour bam. About a 10 pounder. Worked inwards, around 400 ft saw a nice well defined line. Followed it, saw a group of birds working about a half mile off of it. We were surrounded by hundreds of small dolphin. Got one that was 24 inches. The rest were around 15 inches. Saw another flock of birds in the distance sw of us. Went to them, surrounded by thousands of dolphin again. Nothing with size really. Went inward to 200 ft, saw birds on a nice qeddline. Thousands of small dolphin, again. Saw a few tuna and billfish around too at all of those depths. We ended up happily with two fish, I didn't expect to see anything happening. I did not see that many dolphin in all of last year, and close too. May have to go Saturday. Like taking my dad out and having some success. Amazing how time goes by.
