"Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. Amen."
Nothing sad about it. It's reality. I suspect the Mets are doing there best to introduce Tim to it as soon as possible.
Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon... No matter how good you are, the bird is going to crap on the board and strut around like it won anyway. I AM NOT A RACIST

Baloney, it's sad as hell. Reality is sad sometimes. In this case it's pathetic.
Theyre not introducing Tim to anything except this circus.
He's not a baseball player, he never will be a baseball player, not at this level. He's a sideshow, he's the lobster boy at the circus.
Sad

Lots of tickets sold to watch that circus... pathetic is right! He had a helluva day against the big boys :rotflmao
:grin Yeah they sold tickets so there's that but, his performance was embarrassing.
Hey they've got got to pay the bills so whatever it takes to fill the overpriced seats I guess.

I go to 4 or 5 Red Sox games each year here at Fenway south. I usually take my dad to a game or two. I am a volunteer big brother to a 12 year old, he loves it. I take him early and have ended up with a few autographs. It's a good time for 25-30 bucks a ticket. Plus a hot dog or pretzel. We wear cargo shorts and bring our own peanuts and bottled water. Learned several years ago to get really good seats for night games and sit in the shade for the 1:00 starts.

Thats awesome. I would love to go to a Red Sox game at Fenway. My son wouldn't know how to act if I told him we were going to a game at Fenway.
I wish we could have seen Ortiz play there once before he retired
I really wish it was affordable enough to where every kid could go to a couple games every season. It really is a great experience
Hey and good on you for what you're doing for that child.

My dads family is all in Boston (I was born out on the Cape), once of my cousins works for Budweiser so whenever I'd go visit the grandparents he'd take me to games. Company seats, eight rows back from the Red Sox dugout, big fun! I'm a Cub fan and have been to many games at Wrigley, in my opinion the two best parks in baseball, Fenway and Wrigley.
