This may sound a little odd.......but i have seen it and spoke with others that say the same.........take some earth worms out with you and see how things pan out.

Never forget close to 25 years ago going to Naples from Hollywood with a friend. We ended up at some docks after a cold ruthless and fishless day.Only other person fishing was an older fella at the end of a dock KILLIN convicts......with earthworms.Would never had believed it if i wasn't watchin it for myself.

Earthworms? That does sound crazy but I believe you. I might get a few and try it. I think I can catch worms easier than fiddlers everyday! Thanks GS!

I stopped in the corner store on Southern & Olive today. They guy there said that he had live "green back" crabs for bait. They seemed to mostly be in the 2-4" size range. He seemed to think that they would be good for tarpon or permit.

Thanks for tip Jim! I got a few fiddlers delivered from HallPass. He got me hooked up with the best fiddlers Jacksonville has to offer from Browns Creek Fish Camp. If you guys ever make it up there you gotta check that place out! So yesterday I got about 3 hours to scout & we got 2 nice little keepers off the US1 bridge in Jupiter. Today I got done with my job by the Jupiter Inlet and lucky I had my cane pole and a cooler because I got some nice fish! My third drop got my first keeper & everyone was surprised! It was kinda funny fishing next to guys with 3-4 rods out and carts with all their crap etc.. then there's me with just an extendable cane pole and a jig head out fishing all of them! I got 3 nice sheepshead and a ring tail porgie for dinner in less than 2 hours! Good times! I've got a ride offshore tomorrw with MacoLogic & I'm gonna try deep dropping the few fiddlers I have left.

Well 3 pictures is all I'm allowed to post I guess? Can one of our fine moderators help out with getting my pictures straight?

P.S. - I email them to myself, then I saved them as jpg and I still can't get the best pictures to load.

There are a couple shops in Jensen Beach that carry them. I always had better luck with live shrimp though.

Do you have a name or a hint at which shops? I've got the day off tomorrow and I want to fish!
Call Snook Nook, 772-334-2145, 3595 NE Indian River Drive, Jensen Beach.  They usually have them, open 6 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
