Estero Bay 1/21

Got out just before the outgoing tide around 7:30.. Found a nice area with rocks and a drop off on the backside of the rocks with the current flowing over the rocks once the tide started going out...

Drifted some lively shrimp under floats over the rocks for the first 2 hours of the outgoing tide... Total 9 Snook between 18 and 30 inches... Lost one bigger that was all my fault, should have re-tied the leader after the Snook before it.. :banghead

Did get two Snook on the new LiveTarget Scaled Sardine swimbaits... Just jigged it in the current and bam! http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/LIVETARGET_Scaled_Sardine_Swimbait/descpage-LTSA.html

Also got a couple straggler mangrove snappers 6-12 inches and a few bait stealing mother in law's as well...

Overall a pretty good night... But the snook were on and off like a light switch... from about 30 mins or so after the tide switched, and then for about an hour and a half... after that... nada.. and only a shrimp under a float on a hook, no jigs and nothing near the bottom... Definitely suspended fish and all were released... Will try to upload a couple pics in a few...
