Went out for a quick one this afternoon on a snook hunt to try and take advantage of the approaching front.. Put the yak in at first and got a little guy right off the bat but I seriously under estimated the wind as it was basically unkayakable..
Put the yak back on the truck and opted to fish the bank on foot which greatly limited the spots I could fish but that wind was just too much to paddle in.. Was able to squeeze out two more better ones before I called it quits and tucked tail after about an hour..
Also missed one who went after the plug and came entirely out of the water after it.. There aint a better fish to catch on topwater than a snook, fun stuff..
Wow, out today? I was gonna go this afternoon, but I'm 40 mi from the lagoon at the house and 20 mph winds and decided no way, Nice snooks on topwater in the afternoon, Great work
