  Coming from a bigger boat. I think you may be impressed with the ride, storage and ability to pole it. Maybe you can get the guide or if you fish with H&S to give you a real world sea trail.

  Thank you all for the info. I've bounced around boats the past few years starting with a L&B Backwater 20, then an East Cape Vantage VHP and now the Gulfshore. Each one seemed to lack something that I really wanted and the only boat that seems to capture most of my needs/wants is the Egret 189. I'll keep you all posted.

  There is a guide down here in Naples with a 167 and a guide with

  I'm located in Naples and have a 189 (2015) with Suzuki 140. Am not a guide, but have told Frank many times I'd be happy to take a prospect out. Let me know if interested.

  Headed back to NY, 6:30 outa Ft lauderdale. My wife and I had a great week down here, we love Florida.
  We'll be back in 6 weeks with our Moccasin in tow for five straight day/nights of fishing the Hillsboro area. The excitement is palatable. I can't wait to deck our first Florida fish on our own boat.
