    Size 2 hook.

    I actually accidentally bought a pack of 100 offset hooks. I just straighten and use them. 90% of the flies I use are variants of high-tied Clousers. This is Pugliesi minnow fiber with Pugliesi short streamer brush. I just moved the eye forward and put the fibers behind it.

    Happy to share.
    Those particular flies lasted exactly one fish each.
    I don't flatten the barbs, and use 20-pound leader if I am after pompano.
    Both got snarfed up by big ladyfish and broken off at the boat.
    I brought them in too fast (trying to protect the leader) and snapped at the boat.
