11.26 SLI half day offshore

Plan was to run across again with my brother and Mario for a day trip for some hoo's and deep drop however looking at the weather last night we decided to fish locally for half a day which was the right call based on the wind.

Left the dock around 7am and hit the sand pile for some live bait. Plan was to start out trolling as we pushed out to around 180ft area however no luck. So we moved in closer to around 100-120ft. Picked up 2 nice cows (weighed 16lb and 10lb) and lost a bull that was with them. Got a little crazy as we had an AJ and 2 phins on at the same time as that's when we lost the bull.

Had some rod bending action bottom fishing but not a lot of keepers however was able to grab a few Lanes for some ceviche tonight while we watch the ball games. Overall good half day fishing out there. Till next time.

Stoguz (Paul) how did you guys end up out there?

Well done. We were trolling the same depth and did zilch. Quiet on the radio too

    Thanks fellas.

E....glad to hear your doing better and will get you out soon on the ride for sure on the other side for some hoo's when this weather lays down some.

Paul....glad to help and good to hear you had some bites out there. Seemed like the bite was in that 120ft area. Will let you know next time I get out locally if you can make it for sure!

OW....it was a hit and miss bite for sure out there based upon the reports.
