What a mess...Hells Bay usually does a very nice job on rigging. I don't know what's going on there. But, If I were you, there's no way I'd accept a console that looks like that:grin
I talked with Todd over the weekend he said your boat would be in rigging this week. So I'm sure you getting to the point where it's almost Christmas. Remember we talked about a fishing trip with Flatsboy to the Flamingo. Congrats on your new ride.... Pete
Either you are mechanically inclined ore your not. The fact you had to ask told me that you can not do it. Its ok, not every one has this ability. Some people just have to pay.

The boat should be done by the end of the month. There is a tournament to fish in Naples on the 3rd they asked me to fish with them in it. Still want to do Flamingo. I have never been there .

Get that Florida Marine Tracks chip for Flamingo and Whitewater for your new simrad. The place is completely covered with tracks and chart detail. Ran up to the chickee in Hells Bay on it and all around Snake bight area. Tight run but perfect chart accuracy. Every marker and every buoy was perfect on my run through the Flamingo channel to the ramps and every single post and every sign in Tin Can and Snake bight was marked exactly. I dont know how they did it but its pretty ridiculous on the detail and accuracy.
That is an awesome boat right there. Also - thank you for the Marine tracks post - looked at that and man that is great.
Love the fishing and boating things I learn here, thank you.

I would like to think I talked him into making that chip. I wanted his tracks years ago and he found a way to super impose them into a picture so he could share them. I just got back from fishing Louisiana and FMT met me on the way up in Orlando at 5 AM on a Sunday to give me a beta of LA and the updated Florida chip. First class operation.
Looks good, gotta love the wooden "o-shoot" inserts on the deck holes.
from those pic's, I gotta say with the right hatch, thats one stellar bilge access. Going to be easy to get to all your pumps.
I like those types of well thought out design elements.
I was at HB last Spring and took a look at the hull in development and looked great as does the hull on their skiffs. Based on my experience with terrible rigging and poor customer care I would recommend just buying the hull and give the rest to your own rigger. They probably recommended an Atlas jack plate which is a time bomb in that could freeze in place thru electrolysis. If you installed lithium batts you better understand their nuances because the folks at HB don't. Just sayin.

Any word on whether Hells Bay will have the bay boat at The Lauderdale Boat Show ?
They had a factory boat in Islamorada last week. I would think they'll take that one to the show.

I agree it's pretty cool. From the photos looks like it 3 parts. But when it's all together it looks like a single part. Made with multiple molds.
They will have their factory demo there and CA's "Flats Class" boat in the water or vise versa doing demo rides from what I heard.
