20160930 - Inshore trip

With my reconfiguration of my boat finished, decided to run a quick inshore snapper trip.

The weather was not too favorable, so stayed inside of 20 miles. Nothing really exciting happened, but what was interesting was the amount of American Red Snapper inshore. We caught our first one in 73 feet and caught several between 73 and 78 feet. Up until this time, the shallowest I have ever seen an ARS was 106 FOW.

It would be nice it they would come a little further inshore so that we can harvest a few.
