  My buddy and I went out Port Everglades. Saw some black mullet in the channels on the way out, but couldn't get the net on them. Then we went skimmed the beach from the port to Hollywood looking for mullet pods. No mullet, just some pilchards and a few snook. Found the mullet pods in 120 feet. Too deep to net, so I dropped the pilchards under the schools and got a king. My buddy got a Spanish trolling plugs through the schools. Caught fish, so can't complain I guess. Might head up north this weekend and see if we can find some pods on the beach.
