where are the mullet?

Have been fishing S. Hutchinson Island from ft. pierce jetty down to Jensen for the past few days and haven't found any mullet. No mullet no snook. I heard they are down in Jupiter, but don't really know.
Is the run over or can I expect them to show up in Ft. Pierce again.
This is my first year fishing the mullet run, so I don't know much about it.
Help, please>

They are mostly inshore right now spread out in schools, they are moving a night (in the river) but not much during the day.. I think the actual run hasn't started yet. They don't start pushing down the beaches or in out the inlets until a good wind gets going... usually a cool front with wind out of N NE

Agreed. In boynton they've been thick one day and gone the next.
