Made a solo ride out of Ponce Inlet around 5:30 or so after my crew bailed at the last minute. Put baits in at 220ft and started to work outward. Caught a shark almost instantly and figured oh goodness lets hope this doesn't continue. Almost immediately after resetting 1st wahoo hook up on black/ red lure but lost it after about a 10 minute fight. Forgot how hard it is to run the boat and fish at the same time.
Reset again and about 20mins later a second wahoo hook up, I was a little more prepared for this one. Landed fish after a short fight.
After about and hour later had a small sail knock down both right side baits but missed him after a short bit of chaos. That was about it for the day. Ran inside but nothing was home... Not bad for a solo trip...
