    Thanks Darrell. I was way lucky to catch him when and where I did. Sun was at my back, he was far enough away to not get too spooked, he was sorta used to seeing people too. He ended up eating a bunch of the lily pads which is why he was there I guess.

    I was considering the camera angle and got to thinking - how would animals react to those fancy drones with cameras. Next thought was - I guess they have laws against "molesting the critters" with them.

    You are either a very early riser or a night owl to be posting at that time. :)

    Drone laws seem to be pretty variable and random these days with the technology outpacing the regulations. My very basic starter drone camera takes photos and videos but the quality ain't what I desire. I'll wait a few years and let the high end stuff get way cheaper before getting a seriously capable drone. At the moment I would rather have an UW housing for my D7000 but that's expensive stuff too.
