  • If you work for a private "security" firm that has "younger less confident guys" working for it that you need to stick up..............

No, I was not looking for a pat on the back from this motley crew, I did what I did for the little guys because I stood idly by for years and ignored it. I didn't intend to get an attaboy, I was just venting here. Tough crowd we got, and no I don't work for TSA or Wackanutt, I work for a private security firm well beyond our borders. Tgunn, yes, I desperately seek approval from the OT crowd:rotflmao

Have a great day gents, see ya round the coffee pot :USA
Thomas is just one of the guys picking on the new guy. ;)

Okay, I work in an office with 15 other guys and 2 women. For the most part we get along just fine, with the exception of a little sawed off **** and his sidekick buttface! Now, the two of these guys feed off each other and talk smack, not the good smack, not guys busting eacxh others chops smack...the hurtful/pointed/digging smack , and they always attack the younger less confident guys! I got well twisted this morning when they were harrassing a younger coworker, I keep my mouth shut and don't interfere as a rule..it just makes my life easier! I walked up between the two cornholes and let both barrels go, in a gentlemanly way, I told them that the two of them would not have a word to say if this group was at any given place other than work where they feel protected (Both by the badge and the uniform) I told them their bashing and humiliating way of speaking to others has thrown a definite wrench in the workplace spirit of comraderie. I continued to let them know that if they had issue with any of us, they would, could, and should meet for a beer/lunch/golfgame and discuss it like grown **** men and not hide behind the protection of the uniform we wear. They knew I was pissed, I knew I could of destroyed either of them without a second thought, I got my message across in a peaceful (ish) pointed manner as what I said, I said in a low, deep voice, so only the two of them could hear me. I got my point across, I actually feel good for stepping in on this one, I don't think cornhole and buttface will make their cutting remarks anymore without first weighing the consequences. Life is good!~
Invite them to the OT bash! They will feel right at home. :hairraiser

Which security company do you work for?

    Called it.

How does one "hide behind the badge" when the badge means nothing?
