Pulling Drag - Pick your Targets

Tremendous Bait run and Bass catching going on this year down on the St Johns River near Jolly Gator / CS Lee Ramp area. The Black boat has caught 990 LMB this year and there have been several big girls that have fallen victim to Sebile 72mm Stick Shadd and Weightless DOA Plastic 4" Jerk Baits.

I joined the Florida Sportfishing Association (FSFA) back in early March and am getting familiar with "points" fishing. I can expound a little (not an expert) on this format if interested, drop me a line. Anyway, I am Targeting many Species of fish in the Freshwater other than Bass and NOW is the time to get the bigger fish: BlueGill, Redbreast, Stumpknockers, Warmouth, Gar, Bowfin, Pickerel and Catfish to name a few. A few pic's to see what has been going on out there. A little twist to each fish is that you gotta catch them on Fly, 4#, 10#, 15# 20# and 30# tackles and only artificial in the first four categories (15# is Baitcaster, others are Spinning).

Cool pics, thanks for sharing. Nice variety of freshwater species! What did you catch that big catfish on? That bass your holding has a real nice pattern too..

sure, drop me a line. Getting ready to start splitting time between Harney and Indian River and Mosquito Lagoon's but I try to stay especially locked in to whats going on over in the Freshwater. I am not a guide or anything like that but always willing to help out to get on the fish.
