Fish Kill offshore SI 3-25

Down for a quick spring break trip finally got ½ day Friday and Saturday with family
Friday went out during a short window to look for cobia and bottom fish.
Caught several nice lane snappers and with some grunts in the livewell put down the bottom rod to see who was home and after a couple of passes got a big knock down and this nice cobia

Saturday was a day wife, son and buddy. Went out to troll around to 300’ looking for Mahi. Set up 4 line spread and not long after had a big knock down. Cleared the lines and Casey got to reel in a nice phin.

Reset the line and keep trolling around the 300’ area again after 20 min got another knock down. Cleared the lines and this time Brett reeled in a nice Tuna

Trolled for a another 30 minutes and nothing – so onto the bottom grounds
Bottom was pretty quiet – did pick up a nice Lane

All in all a couple nice days on the water
