Black Sea Bass 2--22-16
Since it looked like yesterday was going to be the best day this week, my friend and I took off late around 10 out of Homosassa and headed to the 35' area in a beautiful flat sea. The water temps were around 63. We used shrimp and finger mullet caught 2 grunts and many perch. We then decided to move and since the Gulf was still flat, headed out to the 50' mark to see what we could find. We hit a school of Black Sea bass and some puffers. The puffers were actually biting the tails of the sea bass when we pulled them in. We came home with the larger Sea Bass. Will try them this week. It was a nice day trip. Sorry no photos.
