  Where was this near Homestead? I cannot see a bear in any other area on the turnpike in Dade County.

  It was 1 miles north of the US 27/ Okeechobee Exit. Unreal!

  That is unreal. That bear moved through an area with scattered homes and rock pits. And he must have come from the sawgrass south and east of Krome.

  Young male black bears will wander, but if this one was 300-400 pounds, it's a mature bear.

  At least at this point in time, as far as this post,such "Bear Presence" in south Florida will not dictate South Florida Public Land Acreage ( yep,a Bunch,yea??)
