Action Craft 1720 True Draft

Any Action Craft owners out there who can tell me what kind of poling draft you're getting? Trying to decide between the 1600 or the 1720.

Much appreciated.

12.5" with an optimax 135, jack plate, and power pole
Tarpon... everything else is just bait.

1720 carbon kevlar with f115, jack plate power pole, 3 optimas up front, about 10gal fuel, live wells and cooler empty and no one in the boat measured just above 11" at the drain plug. Sometimes I wish I went with a skinner boat but I make long runs and it really shines in the slop.

Forgot mine has a jack plate with 6" setback so that doesn't help either.

Action Craft factory here. We have tested the new 1720 kevlar boat with one person and 90HP at 7.5". The standard fiberglass boat will draft at 8.5". Now, of course depending on loading, this number can increase. The new boats (2014-2016) are built lighter but stronger than the previous year's models so we suspect the older models draft numbers are slightly higher.

Mine is a 99'. My 89' was 2" less draft but had a 90 on it. (100 lbs less)
