Islamorada canals

This wind is kickin!

At my family home in lower matecumbe for thanksgiving holiday again this year. I debate to bring my boat from Jacksonville in November but nevertheless it made the trip with us this year.

Do the canals on the bayside hold any fish in weather like this or has everything moved off shore for the clean water? The couple mangrove snapper spots I have produced nothing this week.

Is there anything I can try to stay out of this wind or should I just mix another drink and smell the neighbors turkey fryer cooking away?

Happy thanksgiving, Keys Forum members!
