A perfectly good Friday night has been spent replacing the trim motor on the Bird's tired and outdated 175 OceanPro Johnson. I might also add that this is its 4th trim motor. Getting slightly annoyed, but glad to have working trim again.

How often do the rest of you find yourselves turning wrenches to keep your Egret on the water?

    How often do the rest of you find yourselves turning wrenches to keep your Egret on the water?

    I just change out the engine every 5 yrs or so and do another overall haul on the exterior.
