Crystal River Scalloping

Haven't made a report in a while.....hell, haven't fished in so long I may not remember how.
We did just get back from our annual trip down to Crystal River......and I'm pleased to report not any boat damage for a change!
1st day scalloping was good weather, a little rough early but calmed down and clarity was good.....
Loading the boats, ready to head out.....
Scallops were more than last year but not as good as two years before....
Heading back in we stopped off at shell island for a dip and a few beverages.

Woke up at 5:30 to some strong T storms so we headed down for breakfast and waited for a break in the weather. Looked like a window from 9-1.....we decided to head up into three sisters springs to explore since the wind was howling.....glad we did, it was awesome.
Me too! Last years lower unit was painful.
