7/19 PIS + Redfish Pass

Got to the PR ramp at 6:45. Netted bait and headed north to redfish pass for the last couple hours of the outgoing. Found some small snook but nothing to brag about. Also a few decent snapper and couple of red grouper.

At the tide turn headed over to panther key area. Found some tailers. Buddy Hooked up one on a green top dog. Was a hair under 27". Nice fish.

Headed east from there on various shore lines. Found a nice deep shoreline on the back of some key, not sure which one. Pulled out a nice 26" red on a pinfish. Broke in my new cabo finally.....

To finish up the day headed to an oyster bar we saw on our way in to Panther. threw out some chunk mullet. 2 mins later was hooked up with real nice fish. Came unbuttoned and wind was blowing pretty good, never saw it. Ran like a big snook.....

Back to the ramp by 3, just in time to watch the PR circus. Why do people insist on on taking up the whole ramp and loading there boat there? Was a good day.....

Second fish. Had to crop it first. This one had some shoulders. Just over 7lbs.

Sweet reds DanOmite. On Saturday I fished near redfish in the AM, jumped one tarpon then went to Panther key area and got the SKUNK, didn't even see a single red. It didn't help that the scallop hunt/research project was going on and people were swimming all over those grass flats.
