Indian River

Got the little boat wet today with a new to me 10hp. It has been awhile. Put in at the Max Brewer bridge and headed north. The rail-bridge had quite a bit of sheepshead on it. I pulled one off that was 17"+. To the west side the shore is loaded with schools of smaller Mangrove Snapper and Sheepshead, and when I say schools, school is in! My trip was cut short by motor trouble ('63 Johnson) I headed back to the car. Others I saw out did not seem to having luck, but alot of them were fishing pretty shallow. There are a lot of fish out there hanging out deep keeping cool. 3 hours on the water and I am not complaining. I got my fish.
