S.I. Offshore Sunday 6-28 slow day

Not much to report. Started in 80 ft. worked out to 140ft and came back in to 90ft. Between 8:00 and 10:00 we caught 3 cudas [8lb to 15lb] and missed 2 knockdowns. After that nothing. no action-nothing. 12:00 noon we picked up and headed home. Didn't hear much chatter on the radio. A couple of boats said the same thing.

    Welcome to summer!

Try diving the inside ledges south of
Sebastian. For a cool look at the structure.
Haul **** before storms roll in.
Top to bottom is the word.

    Thank for the report.

Yeah was super slow for us too. My buddy on another boat got one 20lb hoo but that was it!
The bottom bite at 90 (at least where we were) was DEAD! Knew we should have headed out deeper.
Only real excitement we had was when a 15lb phin swam up to the boat as we were drifting live baits.
It missed the bait and swam away never to be seen again. That was in 85ft.
I saw flyers 2 miles outside of the inlet on the way in, water was boiling...
