5.31.15 PB Inlet ... epic trip

Went out yesterday afternoon to see how things were.. had a dophin hit baits around 500'.. bro lost it.. small shark ate a bait.. let him go... pesky 7' hammerhead kept going after short kite bait.. he was really pissed when we kept raising bait out of his reach.. he finally left as we did too...

left this morning and decided head south and out to 500'... found some larger clumps of the scattered weed and decided it looked as fishy as anything else.. not enough wind for the kite... had two free runners.. balloon.. couple down with different weights.. one of the down ones gets hits.. nice 20lb dolphin.. we're happy.. drift was up to 4knots out there.. while later.. one of the free baits get hit.. Sailfish... brought other baits in cause this fish is running to OBB.. we finally get it to the boat and release. now we're north of tiara in 450ish.. whole school of small dolphin surround boat.. we have no chum out.. go figure?.. toss sum cut up gog out on spinners.. catch one peanut and leave him in the water.. we end up catching and releasing 5-6 of them.. one swallowed hook so deep we couldn't get it out... as soon as all are released... long free bait gets hammered... huge dolphin does one 4' jump and game on... took 20 minutes and 3 runs from the boat before he succumbed to the gaff.. (Bro is 6'6 in the dolphin pictures with me(6') and neighbor.
