5-16-15 peacock bass

Since the wind was blowing Saturday my son and I took the opportunity to run South to Fort Lauderdale to see if we could find some more areas that were holding peacock bass. We ended up catching 14 peacock bass, half a dozen large mouth bass and we made a few attempts at a decent size snook that we could not get to eat before he swam off. Most of the peacock bass that we caught this time were decent sized fish so that was a bonus. Not a bad way to spend a windy Saturday. We are going to try and find some snakeheads now since we can scratch the peacock bass off of our bucket lists. Hopefully the snakeheads will be as cooperative as the peacock bass have been for us. All of our fish were caught on live bait this go round on a 1/0 circle hook. I sent some pictures to Long so hopefully he can post them on here for me.
