Had some GREAT oysters this week!

A friend had a party in Melrose. He got oysters from Robinson's in Melrose. They were awesome. HUGE and tasty! Price was over $80 per bag though.

I seen some nice ones at a restaurant the other day. They were really big.

all the ones I'm seeing here are from La.
I am glad to only be a bird hunter with bird dogs...being a shooter or dog handler or whatever other niche exists to separate appears to generate far too much about which to worry.

Those oysters from Texas suck 90% of the time. Yes, they are huge. And tasteless.

Had some a while back from Northwest seafood that were suppose to be from Cedar Key they sucked. All small and clammed together. I got some ones before that, that were from Texas they were big and tasty. I have had some a long time ago from Cedar key that were delicious so I guess there is bad and good years for them.

The price is way up and they can't seem to get any from Apalachicola.
