As cool as they are to see...lot's of Deer Hunters have seen what the Cats did to the Glades population and don't want that happening to their herd.
I like to see them myself but I sure don't want them on my hunting lease.
I'm thinking I've got almost 50 years of watching the Woods thru a Hunters eyes.
I know what's good for the Deer , Hogs Rabbit population quite well.
Call it what you want..I'll share the Woods with Grizzlys if I have to...but your not gonna take over and run me off.
An early morning wreck that snarled traffic along Interstate 75 Thursday happened when a car hit a panther, according to Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. The crash took place at 6:18 a.m. in the southbound lanes near Mile Marker 123, according to the Florida Highway Patrol, and involved injuries. The panther was killed, becoming the 17th panther to die in 2015 and the 11th killed by a vehicle. But even after the scene had been cleared and lanes of traffic were reopen, motorists continued to move slowly. Congestion also affected southbound lanes of U.S. 41 at Corkscrew Road East as drivers left the freeway to find a quicker route south. Traffic maps are showing continued congestion along I-75 South between mile marker 128 and mile marker 116.
Oh and..........another damned **** invaded my garage late this afternoon, back into the insecticide bags AGAIN. I sure am happy with the state preemptive law on discharge in city limits. Another one bites the dust! :banana
yes, if the painters don't show I can gig some tarpon.
I am glad to only be a bird hunter with bird dogs...being a shooter or dog handler or whatever other niche exists to separate appears to generate far too much about which to worry.
