Apple and Google Tracking

I don't know if you all saw on the news about the location service function hidden in Apple and Android devices that tracks where you have been, how long you have been and even has maps of this. Apple says they don't use the info but Google says they use the Android information.

If you want to disable this on your Apple device go to Settings/Privacy/Location Services/System Services and down towards the bottom is Frequent Locations. Don't know where it is on Droids.

If you decide to disable look at what has been recorded before doing so. It's pretty amazing.

Google uses it to know how traffic is moving on your typical routes. When I wake up my phone says 37 minutes to work normal traffic on I-75. About an hour before I go home from work my phone says 53 minutes to home, heavy traffic on I-75 here is an alternate route that will save 14 minutes. I don't do any thing shady so I don't care if they track me.
