  Very good Bass fishing in those canals and there are miles and miles of it. No restrictions that I know of. If you go onto the flats you'll need a flag tall enough for the air boaters to see.

  I've never had a chance to fish it but hear it's very good. Especially during low water times that force a lot of fish into the canals off the flats.
