Birds were everywhere from 7 AM to 10AM from Ft Pierce to Orlando, must have counted 20 of them.. was hard to keep my eye on the road...foggy all the way up this morning.
I used to drive the turnpike and beach line(528) daily for my old job. There is an amazing amount of wildlife on those roads. 528 in particular would have 2 groups of turkeys, about 20 each. And, I would see about 10 deer every morning. Large gators would sit on the shorelines of the ponds. I saw a panther one evening as well.
i saw about 7 deer yesterday afternoon feeding about 3 oclock all inside the 3 lakes area along the pike on the way down. No doubt the local wma's benefit from the big ranches

They all invested in that area back then.
Funny how that works. Amazing how you rarely see them along the road near three lakes.
