    Sorry for the lighting, I tried loading a little video of them being ground but the website didn't allow me. If someone can convert it, I'll send it to them and they can post it.

    Hey Rob, try posting it on YouTube, then share the link...
    Man those bug carcasses got to be worth gold once they're turned into chum!
    I'd be putting that stuff on Ebay to the highest bidder...

    After mini lobster season I look for all the heads I can find and use them as chum for bonefish and permit. Works well!

    Wow- Gary. I have one of those markers also from Mark. I too had to fashion a new loop out of weed-wacker line. An easy to see marker when offshore trolling.

    I want to 'improve' the loop....... maybe with a flag on top? The Marker is 'fairly' easy to see but this may be my chance to make it EASY to see........ from 200-300 yards away.....

    Because it WORKS!

    I love a better "mouse trap," it's just what us fishermen do... Developing the Mark's Marker (MM) was quite a "balancing act." Understand a few things I've already been through inventing the MM;
    # If you place any kind of a flag or whatever on top, there could be some adverse effects...
    # The wind could have a tendency to blow the MM over on its side.
    # The added weight up top could have a tendency to lean the MM over on its side.
    # The MM was designed to have the least as possible wind profile... In other words; to not get caught and moved by the wind... So unless the current and wind are all moving in the exact same direction (not likely) the MM might not track the fish-loaded floating debris as well as before your modification...

    Please keep us posted...

    Sorry I'm not currently set-up to do repairs or build new Mark's Markers... I got everything packed away in storage till the Sardine chum makes its come-back... Not having the CM chum to offer is like McDonald's trying to sell soda and fries but being out of burgers...
