Warmer weather equals good trout and snook bite today on DOA light colored shrimp. Hopefully this is the start. I have pictures but their not uploading.
Thanks for posting guys. I was beginning to think all the fish left the area as no one was posting. All I can report is jacks. They are fun to catch though.

Don't get me wrong, the fishing this year has been tough! I've been out 2-3 days a week from Goodland to EC. Trout have been scarce all winter, along with a few others. Reds have been fairly consistent if you get back far enough. Just my opinion..Don't know the cause - weather- Horizon maybe a combo?
I'm new to the shallow water thing this fall/winter....I thought it was just me! It's been tough but I did manage a decent pompano the other day. 12" to the fork.
