Charlotte Harbor 2/16/15

Went out Monday about 10 am looking for trout and reds. It was a little windy, but found some small trout near hog island and a few reds. Could not get the reds to bite at first, did catch a 26" red for dinner and it was good. Got ready to move and a dark shaddow swam by. I made a few cast at it nothing, so I chased it with the trolling motor. I was in about 30" s of water when I got a good look at it, it was a Sawfish about 6'6" or 7' long. I never seen one in the wild. Tried to get a pic but did not come out. I reported it to FWC. Stopped by the bridge and caught a 30" snook headed home at 3pm.

The trout was a New Penny gulp under a popping cork, and the reds was a new penny gulp on a circle hook. Snook terroryz
