Went looking for sheepshead and didn't have any luck. I caught dozens of pinfish and only threw 1 in my bait well. End of slack/beginning of incoming, wind was calm. I ventured into the inlet. The ocean was flat. So I took my jonboat out to the tip of of the North jetty. I stuck that pinfish on a freeline on the drift in through the inlet. My bait got slammed and I brought in a 29" red. Snapped a couple pics of his spots and released. Fished the lights in the river, was only getting small Blues.

My guess a small circle hook and bits of live shrimp. They are all over the place.
