  after all the break offs during the holidays I went to strike zone and Jim set me up with a bigger outfit
  He ate a croaker
  we also caught ARS, trigger, mangos, lane and sea bass
  Chicken rigs with cut bait
  not a huge quantity but a good bite and nice seas in the pm

  Nice Gagger!!!!! What did Jim set you up with? He's a bottom fishing guru for sure. Would've loved till join us but work brought me to Vegas again... On one day's notice... Standard air force.

  Thanks all - only if I had that set up in December
  Is was a basic but good bottom rig - Penn Senator on a crowder rod
  I got this gag on my first drop - it was on the bottom for maybe 5 secs
  She nailed the croaker just as I was locking down the drag - about pulled the rod out of my hands
  Was not ready for that instant strike
  
  I will send you a message next time - usually it is Tues, Wed - Thur
