Cape Romano

I would like to go down toward Cape Romano. I don't general fish down that way and was wondering if I can reach that area in a 22 foot center console? My wife and sister in law would like to go down and see the dome houses. Any advice on which ramp to use and or if access is tide dependent is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Easiest to leave from the caxambas ramp, go out of the pass, turn to the south, run along the coast but far enough off the beach as to not hit the low areas close to blind pass and Cape Romano is just pass that. You won't have any problems if you stay far enough from land until you get close to the Cape

Good advice. To be clear - go right out of the pass to the gulf - not left to mangroves. Once you clear all the pass markers just put your nose on the tip of the Cape and you should be okay. There are sand bars that run out hundreds of yards so be careful.
