OKEECHOBEE, Fla. —A father said he wanted to discipline his daughter by paddling her, but did not want to break the law, so he called the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office to come supervise.
The man’s 12-year-old daughter got into a heated argument with her sister Monday, and the father wanted to discipline his daughter, according to a deputy’s report. A deputy came over to his house, supervised the discipline, and determined it was within legal bounds and that there was no crime, and left, authorities said.

If that don't work........you got some problems and expect to be getting phone calls from the local authorities as your children get older.
Not saying a good backhand by Dad when the youngster smart mouths Mother, can't be effective in that situation.
Or set up a tent in the back yard, tell the child you have to feed, cloth and shelter her but.... what she gets for shelter and clothes and food depends on her attitude. One night in a tent should work.

Mom and Dad are the authority of the family kingdom........ a good kick in the *** beats setting up some ridiculous tent.

It's a great alternative sometimes when disciple wants to turn into abuse.
Not a pleasant experience , but sometimes necessary....she's human.
